A while ago my great friend, RAJ, said – ‘make a disco inspired mix’ or something like that anyway – that’s what i heard :)
So I found a collection of tunes that were basically the mainstay of the mid 80’s Disco Funk Soul era in London – infamous places like the Lyceum on the Strand (run by Greg Edwards).
These tracks are all 2010’s remixes of the originals giving them a solid Disco backdrop feel but the originals (if you know them) are all funk soul sounding.
